Distractions

Nearly finished typing up my second chapter for the dissertation. A couple of hundred words left and I should be done. Then the third to type, which is a bit too woolly for my liking, but I'm sure my tutor will give me some advice.

During my research today I have been distracted twice, once when there was a chapter in a book about authorship of The Prisoner, which caused in me much eyerolling, and secondly when I found a book about Russian and Soviet Film adaptation which went into a bit of detail about the Sherlock Holmes series and its role in the collapse of the Soviet Union. Talk about fangasm.

Well, it was as close as I could get it anyway. The clothes are all right.

i'd love to hear more about that second book and what it had to say about sherlock holmes. also, i scanned all of my ladykillers concept art, but now can't find my flash drive to move everything over! i have to use my ancient laptop for scanning since my scanner is so old.

I have tucked the book away for later. I'll post about it here probably, once I've managed to look at it properly. At the moment my mind is crammed full of dissertation.

My bright red shoes are also tartan in real life. I have a thing about shoes.

LOL, I am a dissertation bore. Mostly because I am actually freaking out about it and am attempting to alieviate my stress by laughing at it. Ha! I mock you, you most important thing I've ever written in my life! Ha ha ha! That sort of thing.
