but this doesn't count! Well, much.

Oh, just watch this video and enjoy.

*geek flail*

BTW, if anyone feels the need to make a crack about the demise of Rover, I would respectfully ask you to save it. I'm a Longbridge dweller and didn't find it very amusing when suddenly half the people in my area were out of a job and without their pensions. Just FYI. Enjoy the video!

as I promised myself that I would concentrate on other things; get a few plot bunnies working and such.

So you know the drill now. Image heavy...oh yeah and I should probably put a small Not Work Safe warning on this as well. Oh and spoilers yo!

and doing this actually made me feel a lot better. That and reading smutty fic.

My dissertation tutor finally returned my HoC DVD. Yes, I left the plastic bag full of unmarked notes in a bin at the college and my DVD was safely delivered into my arms.

So pic spam, image heavy so dial uppers (up diallers?) beware. There is a slight imbalance with the episodes, because I went a bit crazy with the first ep.

I thought I'd post these now. I've got a ridiculously busy day tomorrow (or I should say today as it's gone 12) and I'm going to a party on the night so Lord knows what state I'll be in on Saturday. The rest of the weekend is busy as well so I probably won't be hanging out here again til next week. So these are for your delectation, my lovelies!

It was inevitable really.

Now the madness is over let's have a little bit of pictorial relief (because I can't leave a job half finished).

Lots of images!

To Play the King (parts 3 & 4) )

I'm off to do some real life stuff now.

Yeah yeah, I know, I still have another chapter to post. But while I'm still 'umming and ahhing' over it like the picky, pedantic pain in the arse that I am I thought I'd do a pic spam. I've been threatening it for a while now.

Another title to add to my list of recommendations.

First off, I love Tom Sharpe's writing. It is quite absurd in some ways, but I prefer to think of it as an exaggeration of the truth. Either way I think his stuff is really funny. I read Blott on the Landscape a few years ago and totally loved it. So, yes I love his writing and think Malcolm Bradbury adapted it really well for TV.

Second is John Session looking so very young and being cute and boffin-y and sexually frustrated. It caused me to omit high pitched squeals of delight.

Third, Ian Richardson. Ian Richardson is the don; seriously, he's just one of those actors I could never tire of watching. He's the new Master of Porterhouse struggling to drag the college into the modern age. He's so brilliant, I love him!

Also he's starring alongside David Jason. They were Death and Albert in the adaptation of Terry Pratchett's The Hogfather. Everytime I read Discworld novels the voice of Death is always Ian Richardson in my head now.

Which reminds me, in The Hogfather Albert says something (which I can't remember, sorry) and Death replies:

"You might think I'd thought of that, but I couldn't possibly comment."

Squee!

Sorry for my incoherence, I'm rather tired :)

Blah blah

Hot and bored (hot in the overheated sense of the word that is). Have stuff I want to say but just can't be arsed right now. Still can't find a job, which is a bit depressing but it's early days yet so I won't let it crush my spirit.

Anywho, here's a pic of Ian Richardson as Richard III:

D'aww, how young does he look there?
