Finally Feeling Human
May. 3rd, 2009 09:32 pmYeah, went to my friend's last night. There was drinking involved. Hangovers were developed. Better now after some sleep and some strong tea. Self inflicted sickness is probably the most failtastic thing ever.
So you might have guessed that my work load has significantly decreased of late, hence the heavy drinking. I also got to sort out my computer files. Last year my old computer, poor thing, finally gave up on me and I was forced to purchase a new one (well, it's what a student loan is for). So all my files were stored on various USB sticks and were shockingly disorganised. In organising these files I found a nice little collection of Sherlock Holmes ficlets that I wrote ages ago but did nothing with and also forgot all about. What a delightful little find! I'm going over them and editing, so I'll be able to post them soon. Yay!
Before I go, a nice moment on The Simpsons today:
Bart's toy rocket misses it's target, bounces into Burns's office and into his jacket pocket.
Burns: Smithers! I've got a rocket in my pocket!
Smithers: You don't have to tell me, sir!
Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! I love Burns/Smithers, with all its icky wrongness!
