Star Trek Pic Spam

You can tell can't you, that I'm wasting time? Yeah, but at least you get pretty pictures out of it.
This is my pic spam, going a little way to explaining why I have an almost unconditional love for Star Trek: The Original Series
There is an obvious bias (mainly focussed on the OT3) and I would apologise for it, but I'm not the least bit sorry. I am unashamed! XD
This is not the end of it, either...sorry.
I like this episode. Aside from this scene here we have the bit between Sulu and Uhura:
Sulu: I’ll protect you, fair maiden.
Uhura: Sorry, neither!
I love you, Uhura!
Here though, we have Spock crying about his mommy (possibly the most delightful thing ever) and Kirk admitting that he has an unhealthy relationship with HIS SHIP. How can you not love this show? (Also, unnecessary touching!)

More unnecessary touching! You might notice a pattern to the times when Spock gets touchy feely. There is also a pattern of McCoy doing silly things for good reasons.

When Kirk is on a downer about himself he always turns to McCoy. This makes me happy.

I just love this scene. Look how happy they look together. BFFs!I may secretly 'ship this a little bit too

I cannot believe this episode ACTUALLY EXISTS! I need to have sex or I'll die! Star Trek, you invented all the old favourites! Plus, homoerotic fighting, Spock saying biology and Kirk automatically assumes he’s talking about sex (typical), and McCoy is the one who saves the day.

I find this whole thing sexier than I really should. I mean...come on, what’s wrong with me? Also, I’m the only person I know who doesn’t like beardy Spock...but then you know my thoughts on beards.

Ha ha ha! I’m glad Spock’s mom is like all other human moms (there solely to embarrass their offspring). I think Spock and McCoy seem like such a couple in this episode. Also, LOL at McCoy not being able to do the Vulcan salute.

Oh, see you’re absolutely doing that on purpose now! Whipping, jail and Nazi uniforms? Is it just me or was Star Trek just a really kinky show?

McCoy prescribes booze.I want to see a doctor like this because mine is always telling me not to drink so much This amuses me.

I just...you really have to see this scene. Just...gah. This scene first introduced me to the concept of slash. How about that for personally historic moment? And McCoy getting pissy and asking Spock "must you always be so blasted honest!" always makes me LOL.

This episode is actually quite horrible. But it does have Spock totally being worried about McCoy (who he’s just found out is dying...seeing the pattern yet?) I love that Spock is, for once, showing some compassion and McCoy is suspicious of it. Also, Kirk is very handsy.

I think I’ve covered this before. But also, there’s the scene with the drinking, where they sort of make up and...well, there's definitely eyesex going on.

Okay, I’m the only person I know who wibbles about this. Please join the wibbling! So the Platonians are forcing Kirk and Spock to do embarrassing things. They make Spock laugh and McCoy worries about them forcing emotions on Spock. Then they make him cry. McCoy turns to them to make them stop and says in this really soft, pleading voice “I beg you.” It makes me giddy just to think of it.

And, here we are again. McCoy dying again. And these two just not being able to keep their hands to themselves. Look at that hair stroking! OMG! See? See the pattern? This is actually a serious episode but, well, you know it all ends okay.

Yeah, this is a real Spock/McCoy fan favourite...and I’m not sure why. Yeah, Spock and McCoy being stranded in an icy wasteland seems like a gift, but add to that Spock getting it on with Zarabeth and spending the rest of the time trying to choke McCoy to death and you haven’t exactly got a recipe for romance. That said, there is something about it that makes me have shippy thoughts. One of life’s mysteries. And "we go together or not at all" is a lovely line.
