I'm not sure whether my ability to write Stamper is a good thing or whether I should really start to worry about myself XD
It's definitely that you're a brilliant writer who can get into the minds of characters!
Sarah is older and wiser but got involved anyway.
And what she does to her husband... GAH. I think her infidelity bothers me so much more than Urquhart's because he never acted like he was loyal (to the audience, anyway).
The best thing about writing for more modern fandoms is that I don't have to worry too much about the slang I use
And I get to learn new words! :D That always makes me happy!
He just struggles to get away and makes a kind of growling sound XD
*GIGGLES* Poor lad needs some love, for heaven's sake.
That said though I don't think Urquhart ever really understands how deep Stamper's feeling went, even when he realises that he treated him badly.
I think you're right (and I'm glad, because I fear his reaction if he did figure it out).
like a bully in the playground
Yes, exactly. It's the immediate pleasure of lording over someone, not the long-time scheming that he goes for. It seemed like the thing with the tape was the first time he'd really waited that long for a plan to mature.
